On 26 May 2016, my husband David (co-owner of this blog), had the first of three strokes. This was totally out of the blue and unexpected, although we know it is a potential complication of diabetes. Because of this, our travels around Texas will be less than we had planned.
The plan is to continue with this blog and post what we have been able to photograph so far and, as I can, the stories behind the items depicted in the photographs. It won't include as much of Texas as we had originally intended, but should still be a fun adventure along the way as we regain our bearings after this health shock.
